Save on your energy and water bills

Have your energy and water bills been a bit steep lately? It may be something to do with your hot water system.If your energy and water bills have been abnormally high lately and you haven’t changed your household consumption levels (think, have you had any extra guests come and stay lately or had extra washing to do) then you may have a leak or a fault in your hot water system.To get to the root of the problem, go and have a look at your hot water system and see if there are any visible leaks or water damage in the area. In the meantime you can turn off your water mains to prevent further water from filling the hot water system.If you can’t see a leak, can you hear any unusual sounds coming from your hot water system?
